Meet our caretaker, Sherry!

My name is Sherry Huninghake, I am originally from Leavenworth, born and raised here.  I have five grown adult children, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Experience:

Owned and operated a Licensed Daycare for over 15 years in Leavenworth.  I have CPR/First Aid training, training in child development.

I have an Associates degree in Business, and graduated from Leavenworth High School.  Worked for a local Lawn Care Company for 4 years.

I do this because I love children and not just to make money.  To provide quality and a great day to day atmosphere that when they go home they have something to talk about.

I believe in locally owned business and welfare of children and have an affordable support system. Having a family of five children I know what it’s like to find quality child care that is affordable and helps children grow into great young adults.

I started a Daycare because I love to watch them grow and learn from an early age, knowing that I was given the ability to help parents be confident when they leave and go to work, school, or just need a break.

The fact that they just don’t sit in front of an electronic device and come here to learn, have fun, and learn to get along with a stable schedule, getting them ready for that first day of school with confidence.

We have hot nutritional meals, learning time, art time, reading, and of course fun time.
